Small, reconstructed Wingfield Plain pitcher. This pitcher was part of a vessel cache located under the floor of a room at the Pueblo Grande site, recovered during an archaeological excavation conducted within the corridor now occupied by State Route 143. Pueblo Grande was a large village site located at the headgates of a major canal system occupied as early as AD 500 and reaching its greatest extent during the Classic Period.
