The Gorce Mountains (Gorce in Polish) form a beautiful mountain range in southern Poland's Małopolska Province. They belong to the Western Polish Beskids, which are part of the larger Carpathian mountain system. Situated north of the Tatra Mountains and bordered by the Dunajec and Raba rivers, they are located about 50 km from Kraków and are a popular destination. The Gorce landscape is characterised by gentle, rounded, largely forested peaks, such as the highest point, Turbacz (1,310 metres), and deep river valleys. Here we see them depicted in the breathtaking winter environment with the view of the highest Polish mountains, Tatra.
