A spacecraft made of reclaimed barnwood, a somber video embedded inside an antique sewing machine and a vintage photo of the artist's late father play between the grounded and the ephemeral. Juxtaposing old and new materials and technologies, Chutiwongpeti blends personal and historical narratives to explore doubts and questions about what happens when life ends. Does time fade for us? is it beyond the invisible?
