Witkor Markowicz

Victor Markowicz, American businessman of Jewish origin, emigrated from Poland in 1964. He first heard of the Museum project in 1998 and since then has supported activities of the office. As he pointed out himself, his decision of 2002 to donate one million Polish zloties towards the Museum was a very bold one, since success of the project was not at all obvious.
