First issued in 1939, Munjang is considered a legendary monthly magazine to students of literature. It has often been the case that prominent Korean writers and poets including poet Park Mok-wol, Jo Ji-hoon, and Park Doo-jin were able to make their respective debuts on the recommendation of Munjang.
