Wolseley brand two-stand portable shearing plant. It is a 32-volt, three horse-power single-cylinder petrol engine [R-Type?], mounted on wooden trolley base with metal axles below bearing four cast-iron wheels. The plant bears cast-iron drive wheels to left and right, exhaust pipe at top, rear. It connects to a cylindrical metal drum at front, supporting cast-iron unit with drive wheel to side (operated by a belt drive from the engine drive wheel). The engine is painted green and decorated with painted 'WOLSELEY' and with metal manufacturer's plate bearing text 'WOLSELEY / SHEEP SHEARING / MACHINE COMPANY LTD. / BIRMINGHAM / ENGLAND'.
