The work of Phil Sidney is steeped in medieval folklore and fable; those narratives and legends weaved thousands of years ago. Sidney is particularly interested in the role of ‘wild animals’ at the time, as untamely beasts and allegories of danger. He treats them, instead, as lonely outcasts and misunderstood heroes.
