Bronzed statue of an AAGPBL player, "Woman At Bat", by Stanley Bleifeld, 2005. Life-size bronze statue of a female in batting motion, mounted on a bronze base. Batter is wearing an All-American Girls Professional Baseball League tunic with "5" on the back. The base has: SBleifeld c. 2005 on back right corner. Next to the statue is a replica of a home plate in brown marble engraved: Woman At Bat / 2006 / Cast Bronze / by Stanley Bleifeld / In honor of the members of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League 1943-1954 / Made possible through a generous donation by Don and Chris Sanders / Houston, TX / May 14, 2006.
