Miliţa’s portraits show a great diversity of expressions, from generic figures, which bear vaguely symbolic references, to portraits from her years of maturity, where physiognomic and characterological particularity became a priority. The artist has tirelessly tested the multiples possibilities of a successful artistic genre in the Romanian society, becoming the greatest portraitist of her time.
