Composition in sepia tones, red, red ochre, yellow, black and white. Lines defining contours and shading setting volume. Half bust of a woman singing, 3/4 turned to the left, against white background. The figure has long face, hair pulled back and curly fringe, broad forehead, right eye is only outined and the left is well-defined, looking to the left, she has a small nose, full lips painted red, half open as if singing, rounded chin and some neck lines. The upper part of the clothing she is wearing can be seen and has a V-line. Light falling from the right of the composition creating shaded area on the right side of the face.
