Women on Route 66 on New Mexico: Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez, a potter from the San Ildefonso Pueblo in New Mexico spent much of her time at the Palace of the Governors in Sante Fe keeping this tradition alive. With her husband helping with design her signature work became a part of the Palace gift shop and coveted by visitors.
