Women Participate in the Brajamai Procession

Holi, the ancient Indian Festival of Colours is celebrated across the country in a variety of ways. The Spring festival of Yaoshang in Manipur is celebrated by dressing up in the local Yaoshang attire. Young women participate in the Brajamai procession from Bijoy Govinda Temple to Govindaji Temple to play Holi.
