Nicola Adams of Team Great Britain floored Chinese boxing great Cancan Ren and became London 2012 Flyweight champion she wrote herself into the history books as the first woman to win an Olympic boxing gold medal.
After being crowned flyweight champion Adams said: ‘I am so happy and overwhelmed with joy. I have wanted this all my life and I have done it.’
