Women work second jobs as nurses at Medical First Aid Stations during air raids

After a full day's work 26 women form a brigade of the St John’s Ambulance. They are headed by Miss Mabel Curd, clerk in the Traffic Audit, Baker Street who was appointed Lady Ambulance Officer.
