The bodies of the figures are divided vertically, on light and dark areas, suggesting shadows. On the left, fat woman from the front, sitting on low rectangular box, hands on knees, represented facial features, dress at the knees and bare feet, has dark area on the right side of the body. On the right, sitting with her back woman next to a chest. Further back, in the center of the composition, between the two women, front woman, suggested facial features, sketched body. Behind these women, more sketched figures which blend with irregular shapes that surround the group.
