Women’s Under Skirt

This is an undergarment worn under the outer skirt. Women began to wear it as dansokkot, or a woman’s trouser-shaped undergarment, disappeared at the beginning of the 20th century. This underskirt is usually narrower and slightly shorter than the outer skirt, and is worn with a waist vest. It was made of white silk, Chinese silk, calico, or rayon.
