Woodchester is a landscape park dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. The estate passed through a succession of owners and was subdivided in the 20th century. Since 1989 the estate house, Woodchester Mansion, has been looked after by the Woodchester Mansion Trust, and in 1994 the park was purchased by the National Trust.
