The woolly mammoth, an extinct giant mammal, lived on the tundra. This mammoth had a thick fat layer under its skin and relatively small ears, compared with recent elephants, by which this mammoth was adopted to cold environments. TIMA is a well-preserved woolly mammoth skeleton, which was discovered from Omsk region, southern Siberia, Russia. The name 'TIMA' is the combination of "TI" for Tiny and "MA" for Mammoth.
