As the sun rises over NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, workers accompany the crawler-transporter as it carries space shuttle Atlantis to Launch Pad 39A. First motion out of the Vehicle Assembly Building was at 6:38 a.m. EDT Oct. 14. The 3.4-mile trip, known as rollout, is expected to take about six hours.
