Workers look at a piece of the Columbia debris ready to be moved into the RLV Hangar near the Shuttle Landing Facility. Truckloads of the debris arrived from the collection point at Barksdale Air Force Base, Shreveport, La. The workers will attempt to reconstruct the orbiter as part of the ongoing investigation of the accident that destroyed the Columbia and claimed the lives of seven astronauts as they returned to Earth after a 16-day research mission, STS-107.
