Jeongdangbeollip is a wide-brimmed hat made of Korean moonseed, and was worn for protection from rain, wind, or sunlight. This hat was produced by densely weaving threads made from dried Korean moonseed. It is generally 11-15 cm in height, and around 50 cm in diameter. It was designed to be placed on the head to protect the topknot. The hat was designated as the Intangible Cultural Property No. 8 of Jeju Island.
