Publication of the Royal Prussian mining headquarters in Saarbrücken for the World's Fair in St. Louis in 1904. The mining headquarters issued a comprehensive 124-page brochure on the welfare institutions for the workers at their pits for the international exhibition in St. Louis. The brochure provided information on the partly advanced social security measures for miners in the Saar region. The publication presents different aspects of employee welfare from the miners' association, mining schooling to premium and loan proceedings and welfare facilities all the way through to accident prevention and aid.
