WSM D'Urban

RAMM's early curators, of which William D'Urban was the first, secured important collections for the museum. When D'Urban arrived, his priority was to organise the existing collection and make it ready for opening in 1868. Afterwards, he continued to work on the displays and catalogue the early accessions.
