Ada Flatman sitting in back of car with Vera Holme standing by poster and Geraldine Lyster my Hon Sec. sitting in front of car, at the Cheltenham by-election where the Liberal Candidate was defeated (W. Mathias) by Mr James Agg Gardner (Later Sir James) by a close majority of 4 votes. I was in the Town Hall & on the balcony when poll was declared at 11:30pm after three counts!!'
