WSPU Tablecloth worked by Winifred Roberts

Tablecloth, linen, edged with lace and banded with drawn thread work, the signature of Emmeline Pankhurst is embroidered in the centre, and the signatures of the following suffragettes are embroidered around the perimeter: Mary Richardson, Mabel Tuke, Marie J Naylor, Lilian Lenton, Inez, M Lansbury, L Garrett Anderson, Georgina A Brackenbury, George Lansbury, Charlotte P Gilman, Evelyn Sharp, Beatrice Saunders, Annie Kenney, Geraldine Lomax, Mary Leigh - No Surrender, Gladys Evans, Ida (?), Rachel Barrett, Christabel Pankhurst, E. Sylvia Pankhurst, Flora Drummond; worked by Winifred Adair-Roberts, who collected the signatures between 1912-14 and embroidered over them.
