WWII Jewish Chaplain's Ark

Ark used by Chaplain Morris Gordon for services on the Burma Trail during WWII. Ark was made of teak by Chinese officer who saved Gordon from drowning when a bomb catapulted him into river. Gordon was holding onto Torah and trying to swim to shore, but was too weak. See page 56-58 of "Dare to Be..." autobiography.
