After the death of Prince Franz, he too received a place of remembrance in the monument. His bust is in a niche opposite the entrance. The verses of the inscription “To God he built churches. To the poor he built huts. The arts and sciences worthy temples. Friend and connoisseur of beauty. Patron of all good. His country's second creator. The founder of this garden.” are from the poet Wilhelm Müller.
