Luigi Gianetti (1878-1911), graduated in industrial engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan, works at Brown-Boveri, a large Italian company in the heavy mechanics sector, innovating the sector productivity. Passionate about photography and mountaineering, he is secretary of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) for many years. He died unmarried, allocating 172,000 lire to the Ospedale Maggiore, 15,000 lire to the CAI for the publication of guides and maps, to mark paths and build shelters.
