Emsemble with cape de bal sortie

The sortie-de-bal-cape is decorated with machine silk embroidery, faceted bugle beads, chenille, sequins, silk cord, ruffles and matching silk pleated gauze flounces. It has a black taffeta lining.

The dress is made of black ribbon silk lace encrusted with black taffeta motifs embroidered with matching silk woolwork. The bodice has been modified and the lining is lost.
