JAVELINS IN PEAK PRODUCTION May 22nd 1957 PAR 63704-1 (PNR-J) This is the first picture to be released showing the production of Gloster JAVELINS, which will be taking part in greater numbers than before in the annual defence exercise 'Exercise Vigilant' due to start this weekend. The Javelins, seen being built at the Gloster Aircraft Company at Gloucester, are also in peak production at Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft in Coventry - both being members of the Hawker Siddeley Group.
