Xmas Time at the Ohio Theater

The Ohio Theater is in a wonderful building that opened in 1928 in Columbus, Ohio as a sumptuous movie palace, and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977. I love the bright lights and the ornate interiors.

Every single year, in December, many families have the tradition to go see the BalletMet dancers performing The Nutcracker while the Columbus Symphony plays the music by Tchaikovsky.

Sadly, in 2020, it has been canceled. I wanted to represent the warm and festive feeling of attending this well-loved event. It brings back great memories.
