Increpacion danza was born in 1993 out of the willingness to research the world of Spanish and Flamenco dance, in an attempt to unite these traditional techniques with the aesthetic parameters and the choreography of contemporary dance.
In this 20 years the company has presented it's work in more than 20 countries around the world.
They were born in the XX century, they have been dancing for XX years and all have XX chromosomes. In 1993, Montse Sanchez and Ramon Baeza launched themselves into the task of renewing flamenco language, "contaminating" it with elements from contemporary dance. Now, they look back over a career spanning twenty years in which the company has mostly danced in the feminine, never noting the absence of a male bailaor. XX features moments from the company's most outstanding pieces, revisiting its origins and illustrating the evolution and creative maturity of two choreographers who continue to renew the language of dance.
