The religious institutions having enormous collection of woodblocks serve as Par-khang(printing house). The most popular religious printing house between 17th to 19th century were Pung-thang(Punakha Dzong),Choe-tse(Trong sa Dzong), andTra-shi gang(Trashigang Dzong). The religious texts published from these printing house were widely known as Pung-thangpar-ma(woodblock print), Choe-tse par-ma, or Tra-shi gang parma.
