Notes: Open heath of sedges, Restionaceae, Hemigenia
Banksia
oblongifolia, B. serrata,
ta, Lambertia formosa,
Stylidium, Actinotus (small), with scattered Eucalyptus
gummifera and Angophora hispida. On dryish sandy soil,
never waterlogged.
Locally frequent. Erect tufted herb, 0.3--0.5 m high.
Flowering at 11.05 am. Lower sterile bracts tan brown with
pale cream median region. Lowest bracts longer than higher
ones (sterile)
