    A SPORTING INDUSTRY MJH/RS. In a factory at Teston, near Maidstone (Kent) an industry which can be described as "typically British" is carried on. For at this Kentish factory (Alfred Reader & Co) established 150 years ago, cricket balls are made to be used in "the national game". PHOTOGRAPH SHOWS: 56-years-old ARTHUR MARTIN stitching cricket balls at the Teston (Kent) factory where he has worked for 38 years.
