Chowki (Low surface)

A hexagonal shaped chowki of this type is the most common design found in the Shekhawati region. Made using a combination of wood and metal, its edge rails were clad with ornately embossed brass sheets. The edge beadings and the turned legs were lacquered in traditional colours of yellow, green and red.
