Yatake Artificial forest surrounded by natural forest

#yatake point. Stereo microphone and camera point at 1000m altitude in the middle of Yatakezawa in the UTokyo Chichibu Forest. This is the point where you can see the beautiful morning sunrise.
The site is in an artificial Hinoki cypress (Chamaecyparis obtusa) forest, but is surrounded by beech and natural fir and tsuga forests. A digital SLR camera is also used to record the phenology of the kasumizakura cherry trees.
