Gascón de Gotor submitted this painting to the National Fine Arts Exhibition (Exposición Nacional de Bellas Artes) and was awarded an honorable mention. The painter was Unceta's favorite follower and Unceta taught him a detailed and meticulous technique. This painting depicts a woman in profile wearing regional Aragonese dress. She is covered with a black shawl and her hands are together in a recollection pose. This is a simple cropped composition on a neutral background which achieves plenty with a minimum of descriptive elements.
On deposit from the Museum of Modern Art (Museo de Arte Moderno).
