Anupong Chantorn created contemporary and prestigious artwork reflecting Thai traditions using mixed materials and sophisticated visual art techniques. Inspired by Buddhist disciplines and values in Thai society, the art also precisely reflects social dilemmas. Another signature technique included in this creation is dot painting (Pointillism), which replaced brushstrokes, in order to accentuate dimensions, vibrancy, and resemblance of textures, making the art so distinctive that it gained national and international recognitions namely three 1st Prize, Gold Medal Awards at the National Exhibition of Art, being granted the title Artist of Distinction, and two 2nd Prize, Silver Medal Awards, all of which makes him the youngest Artist of Distinction.
