This is a representative work of the Chengguan kiln, Xinan. Small pearl-like patterns are stamped on a ash grey semi-pottery biscuit. Two phoenix patterns are carved, and sgraffito peony patterns can be found on the sides. A grayish translucent glaze is put on the biscuit, which has a lustrous color. The drawing is also sophisticated.
