Choreographer: Jiří Kylián

"With 'Dreamtime' I have created a ballet where the invisible is just as important, yes maybe even more important, than what people eventually see. A ballet where you, when looking back at it as a viewer, don't know if you have engaged in a ballet or dreamt for a while. But how do you realise a movement ahead when your target seems to move away from you? In a dream something like that is very common; people and things around you appear and disappear, seemingly without sense, and everything happens within that one second before the alarm goes off.
'Dreamtime' is about feelings that are very precise, but never get expressed clearly. They evaporate, others take their place." – Jiří Kylián
