For this visit to Nuart, the Norwegian street artist Martin Whatson contributed one of his typically colourful takes on graffiti motifs. The mix of monochrome stencil work and colourful freehand graffiti is typical of the artist's style.

Whatson has created a career in urban art by mixing the classical and natural with urban graffiti aesthetics. His vibrant abstract graffiti artfully covering famous works of art or subjects from the animal kingdom can be seen in galleries and on the street worldwide.
