Exploring a variety of mediums, Adel Abdessemed transforms everyday aterials and images into highly charged, o en shocking, but always unexpected artistic declarations. His references are personal, social, and political, establishing a dynamic of visual language that is at once rich and sparing, sensitive and controversial, radical and mundane.
