The first automatic photo-booths, real self-portraits, date back to the second half of the 19th century; they were invented by Conrad Bernitt, who used the BOSCO system. On the container of this small photo in poor condition but very suggestive, it is noted "Aunt Marzietta Varzi (mother's aunt)".
