Zilif-Askysy is a decoration of fez, a traditional female headdress. It was made as a shaped plaque with floral ornament, which was made with openwork multi-tiered filigree technique.
The space of the adornment is filled with a pattern of the openwork spiral stems, which was laid out of an overturned wire and decorated with granulation. Two-tiered rosette with six petals and bead-like core is located in the center. Three filigree flowers with beads are placed in the three corners of the adornment. Along the contour Zilif-Asky is decorated with the sewing made of overturned wire. There was a bunch of filigree rings in the lower part.
Zilif-Askysy is a pair decoration, which was fastened to the temporal parts of a headdress by married women.
