This silent home movie captures Texas rock band ZZ Top performing live in Abilene on December 29, 1977, as part of their Worldwide Texas Tour. Jay Boy Adams opens the show. Launched in support of their 1975 album, Fandango!, the Worldwide Texas Tour was ZZ Top’s most elaborately staged yet. In addition to a 35-ton stage in the shape of the Lone Star State, the band also brought along a menagerie of wild animals, including a buffalo, a Longhorn, rattlesnakes, tarantulas, and six buzzards.
