Choreographer: Lionel Hoche

The work of the French choreographer and former NDT dancer Lionel Hoche is characterized by a theatrical and absurdist approach. Two years ago, he created for NDT 2 'Blancs d'y Voir'. In this ballet he staged baroque costumed dancers amidst shaving mirrors. The same ingenuity of attributes is now seen in 'À tire d'aile'. With this work he leads the viewer into a mysterious world with wandering angels. Hoche, who danced for several years with the Nederlands Dans Theater, made this sixty-minute work for all fourteen dancers of NDT 2.
