Small égoïste part of a porcelain service probably made for the marriage between don Giulio Visconti Arese Borromeo and the Marquise Teresa Cusani in 1721. This service, commissioned in China with the sending of a drawing of the Cusani and Visconti Arese Borromeo emblems which is depicted on the égoïste itself, was ordere by don Giulio or by the Flemish aristocracy on the occasion of the wedding.
