Scenes of devastation on Üllői Road, Budapest, in October 1956. The dome of the Applied Arts Museum is visible in the distance, and which is very close to Corvin köz, where fighting had broken out on 23 October 1956, the first day of the Revolution, and where Soviet forces suffered heavy losses.
