To the fact that this canvas is the best example of Risim's takeover of the characteristic iconography of the so-called the monument of the "roadside" - the traditional memorials of Dragačevo and western Serbia, speaks the Politika's award for painting, which he received in 1958 for this work. It is evident how much the painted drawings, which emerged from the hands of skilled self-taught creators, influenced the artist. Risimović had a real inspiration for this two-dimensional depiction of soldiers in line - as a boy he watched partisan units on the main square in his hometown of Čačak in 1941. However, the peaceful warrior machine, in its own clothes, without markings, without description, using specific ornaments on parts of clothes, shoes, hair, separated the artist's perception from the real scene and raised the image of the military machine to the level of universal.
